Product Introduction:
Volati le  Corrosion  Inhibiting  (VCI)  Fi lm  is  the  core  technical  product  of  Suzhou  Keysun
Company, and has passed the testing of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wuhan Research Institute
of Materials Protection  and SGS,  etc.  It  is  a  kind  of  corrosion  inhibiting  fi lm  produced  in  the  co-
extrusion method. When Keysun VCI fi lm or VCI bag is used in the metal product packaging, volati le
corrosion  inhibitor  gasifies  in  the  constrained  space  and  agglomerates  on  the  metal  surface,
ncluding holes, hol lows, gaps and other inaccessible surfaces, forms a gas-phase protective layer,
so as to prevent the metal products from corrosion. It is in compl iance with the National Standard of
he People's Republ ic of China, American Mi l itary Standard MILB22019C and MILB22020C.

Typical Physicochemical Characteristics:
Appearance: transparent fi lm

Color: grass green, yel low, blue, etc.
Thickness: 0.03mm~0.25mm
Term of corrosion inhibition: more than 2 years
Commended Purpose:
The corrosion inhibition of aviation fittings, engines, auto fittings, components and mechanical
equipments in storage and transport;
Application Method and Attentions:
1.Make sure the packaged content free from corrosion when packaging
2. Keep the packaged content clean and free from any foreign matter or finger mark before
packaging  
3.Keep a dry environment and the operators shal l wear gloves at packaging
4.The product shal l be treated with anti-corrosion process after the completion of production; and
the product temperature shal l not higher than 50��nbsp; before packaging
5.For VCI packaging, the most important proceeding is closed packaging; the tightness shal l not
less than 95%
6.The space between VCI packaging fi lm and packaged content shal l not exceed 25cm
7.The corrosion inhibiting package shal l be appl ied. If the size or interior and exterior superficial
area of content is too large or the environment is too wet during packaging, the assistant corrosion
inhibiting additives, such as VCI powder, corrosion inhibiting drier, etc., shal l be used inside the

package. (General ly 1m  space requires about 100g VCI powder.)
